Working hard lately and tired too

Ok where do i begin.....

I worked a nice 8 hour shift today at Babies R Us! One busy busy busy day! We had our huddle meeting in the morning as always and i am sitting there listening to everything that is going on and what our goals are for today and my opens the folders and says "Ok so we had a guest survey takin and the guest gave all hundreds for the store and mentioned my name and said how wonderful and amazing i am as an associate i am!" My face turned red lol! That is the second guest survey done in a week with my name on it! i really hope to get a great raise from doing as well as i am doing lately! I am really proud of myself for once cause i am really doing very well at my job lately and i just continue to do extremely well! 

Man it is Easter and people are shopping instead of going to easter egg hunts! And we are a baby supply store! 

Alot of mother and fathers registering for babyshowers too today! 

So i was talking to my boss about something my Daughter Caitlyn asked me the other day! 

Caitlyn was telling me "I understand that my Great Grandpa lived his life but why couldnt my Daddy live longer then 24 years old so i could be older and know him more!" It makes me so sad to hear that because caitlyn is so smart! She may never know what she ever did with her Daddy but she does know of him! When i take her to the Cemetary this is what she does.....

Great Day but......

I had a great day today! I went to work for a couple of hours and then came home! Now when i got home and came up to my room i smelt something that didnt smell right! Caitlyn got into the nail polish remover and nail polish! The Nail polish remover was spilt all over my comforter and bed skirt! So i had to wash the comforter and bed skirt! 

We also have a blast Playing with our neighbors! We played kickball baseball! fun fun fun! i haven't had that much fun in awhile! I work so much that i don't have much time anymore! 

I also got to upload some pics from the easter egg hunt that i would love to post!

So i have had allergies for the last 2 weeks and i kept taking sudifed which does not work for these kind of things lol! But my neighbor gave some tonight and i am feeling better right now! Why didnt i think of it before lol!

A day of realization

Today was a great day that i spent with my daughter Caitlyn and her Cousin Kira and her nana! It was great to have caitlyn around Derricks side of the family! A great day but long! lol! 

Well this afternoon i called my sister Kelsey to talk to her about a few things that i am having a hard time with! I am having a hard time with knowing that caitlyn has to change her title for kelsey and aaron from mommy and daddy to mommy kelsey and daddy aaron! Well Kelsey is my sister at heart but she is MY sister! She does everything for caitlyn and i and so does her hubby! They care soooo much about us that when kelsey is upset about something she will literally get upset ! Well we were arguing about it today and she got sooo upset about it that she wanted to hit a wall! 

Well when i hung up with her i realized something!!! it was a bell in my head telling me that no matter what Caitlyn calls them she will always be there little girl! Kelsey and Aaron have had 5 miscarriages sence they have known us and they never that they could have a child and now Kelsey is preggo and due June 9th acouple of days after caitlyns birthday and mine! I need to stop worrying about the past and the future and think of today the day we are in! We dont know when we are going to die! 

If anything ever happened to any of us i would regret not having the fun we could have had! I must live for today! Kelsey and Aaron are Caitlyns Godparents and NO one can take that away not even me! I cant be selfish like that! Aaron is the only father figure caitlyn has that is alive! She may say daddy aaron you are my father someday and say i want to call you daddy and i dont care what people think! 

I understand that when we are out and about and Caitlyn calls Aaron Daddy and Kelsey Mommy and Me Mama it looks and sounds weird but we are a FAMILY! We are not lesbians or Paligamist! Now no one would know unless i explained why caitlyn says that! Caitlyns daddy Died when she was 16 months old and so she didnt really get to know her father well at all! It was very Special how we met them! 

Well i am going to keep praying about this!

Cant wait for Easter week with MY FAMILY and the Babyshower the following weekend!
